NORTH SEYMOUR ISLAND

This is a fascinating land excursion, where you will find a rich variety of wildlife including sea lions, blue-footed boobies, frigatebirds, lava gulls, swallow-tailed gulls, pelicans, land and marine iguanas. Here you will have the opportunity to pass close to the nesting areas of the frigatebirds and blue-footed boobies. During the spring mating season, male frigatebirds try to attract females by displaying the beautiful red gular sac. You can also enjoy the amusing mating dance of the blue-footed boobies.

Las Bachas

This is a wet landing on a pretty white sand beach, where sea turtles return their place of birth in their hundreds to nest. Flamingos are often seen wading in a salty lagoon just behind the beach. Along the way, look for Yellow warblers making a beautiful contrast on the dark lava rocks, Darwin finches, Lava gulls, Black necked stilts, Sanderlings and Whimbrels.
Swimming & snorkeling off the beach.
